Because I’m a studio musician and self-professed gadget geek I am always on the lookout for new gadgets to include in my toolbox. My friends are the same way. We are always looking for excuses to buy new gear and recently my pal, HuggyBear (that’s his hip hop call sign – bass players can get really weird sometimes!), told me about his latest gear purchase, Audio Technica ATH-ANC27 Noise-Canceling Headphones.

Well I have to say I was impressed with what I heard and for the price I was even more impressed! I paid almost that much for my studio headphones that do not offer noise canceling headphone technology. Needless to say I was happy for him, but a bit ticked off that I spent a lot more and got a lot less bang for my buck. HuggyBear laughed as he laid down a new bass groove while monitoring his music on his new Audio Technica ATH-ANC27 Noise-Canceling Headphones.

Great price, over-the-ear noise canceling headphones with amazing sound quality throughout the entire frequency range. Yes, these are a good deal. And they are still relatively new, so not every body is going to have one of these (if you are into that kind of thing).
